Trey Songz, the Inventor

So yesterday was my first day watching this video. No, seriously, I hadn’t seen it yet. So I had to watch two different videos to understand. Apparently this is part two, following “say ahh”. I suppose that is actually a nice touch, got a lil story unfolding here. Cool. Well, had this video not been apart of a storybook, so to speak, I would had made a very small change. First off, I like the video; for the most part it handles the lyrics well, so as far as the “body” of the video, I would have remained the same. But as for the beginning, let’s say it starts out with Songz, the “inventor” himself sitting at his work bench tinkering with his new invention, a little box, made of glass, of course. Then there’s the famous zoom in and magnify action. Now the video picks a up with the two, Songz and his leading lady. The video proceed as normal, until the very end where it will zoom out with a satisfied Songz admiring his new invention, SEX.

Slow Wind For Me

Ok, so I decided to take it back, just a little. Am I by myself when I say R. Kelly matched the beat, the lyrics just the whole vibe of this song to the video?! Okay, so I knew somebody would agree. This video was sheer perfection. It was a perfect fit. The Congo, the belly dances and the sexy women. He got an extra ten points for the dark-skinned sister doing her solo. The only thing I would add is a scene of just Kelly and his soloist, him in a big burgundy leather sofa with his Cuban cigar appreciating her slow wind!
